पूर्णिमा के दिन पवित्र नदियों में स्नान करने का विशेष महत्व माना गया है। प्रत्येक माह की पूर्णिमा संसार के पालनहारे श्री हरि विष्णु भगवान को समर्पित होती है। शास्त्रों के अनुसार इस दिन किया गया दान गोदान के समान फल देने वाला होता है। साथ ही मनुष्य को अकाल मृत्यु का भय भी नहीं रहता। नारद पुराण के अनुसार इस दिन व्रती जितने द्रव्य ब्राह्मण को दान करता है, उसको उतने ही शुभ फल प्राप्त होते हैं। #वट_पूर्णिमा_व्रत
