The Three Stooges (Moe, Larry and Curly-Joe DeRita) made three well-received appearances on THE STEVE ALLEN SHOW in 1959 at the start of their career resurgence. The first of their three appearances occurred on Sunday, January 11, 1959, when performed in "The Doctor" sketch with Moe as Larry's inept surgeon, and Curly-Joe as an equally inept nurse in drag.

This colourized version has been augmented with the classic Columbia Pictures sound effects associated with the Stooges. Additional period laugh track sounds have been added as well (Allen's show did not use a laugh track to "sweeten" live audience reactions). #threestooges #steveallen
