Golden Guitar by Sharp 5 (シャープな5 ゴールデンギター)

This is a cover of "Golden Guitar", a 60's Japanese eleki tune by the amazing Sharp 5 (lead guitarist: Nobuhiro Mine). The audio track was pre-recorded to allow for better audio and multiple camera angles. The backing track was extracted from the original track using Vox Jamvox III's GXT technology (a sort of frequency limiting filter). The lead guitar was recorded through a Quilter Micropro 200 with the stock 8" speaker; one Shure sm57 was positioned in the front for the first channel, and one XLR cable was run through the direct output behind the unit in the second channel. PC input device was a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, and audio was mixed in Audacity. Video recorded in my woodshed (aka. the "surf shack") with a Flip Ultra HD, and the final project was brought together in Adobe Premiere. Thanks for watching!
