The Summer Twilight Festival is a special time-limited event in Monster Hunter: World, held from 12 July 2018 til 26 July 2018.

Challenges are event-based quests which are only accessible on specific events. As for the case of the Summer Twilight Festival, a few exclusive Challenges were opened for hunters to partake. Speak with the Arena Lass to choose whichever available Challenges you would like to tackle.

You could only clear these Challenges using one of the five predetermined equipment sets given to you.

Gajalaka Outbreak! was a Special quest hosted in the Arena. Hunters were tasked with defeating 10 Gajalakas while the Brute Wyvern - Barroth - attempts to interrupt your efforts.

Your best timing and world ranking will be recorded in every quest for these special event-based objectives.

Note:
This quest gives players Summer Insect Field Guides as a reward upon completion.
Collect 10 of them to craft the Butterfly α and Butterfly β Armor Sets at the Smithy!
Collect 2 of them for the Butterfly Layered Armor at the Resource Center!
