I am specifically visiting the part of Kurdistan that is in the north of modern-day Iraq… But Kurdish people live all over Turkey, Iraq, Iran, and Syria.

Kurdistan has a degree of political autonomy within the Iraq borders, but Kurdistan as a whole is not an independent country. Come with me to this heavily disputed region.
