My first microphone was a USB Blue Yeti microphone. It was fine, but I wanted to really improve my audio and get that "radio" sound. So, a few years ago, I bought a Heil PR 40 microphone.

In this video, I review my Heil PR 40 and showcase the black version (the Heil PR 40B).

It's XLR only, so you'll need a digital audio interface, such as the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 or solo, or a Rodecaster Pro.

It's a dynamic mic, so it doesn't pick up so much background noise and has an integrated pop filter. It gives a really rich dynamic sound.
