Welcome back to Hundred Mile Prep — Week 6, Day 1.

This episode is about truth versus deception, endurance versus comfort, and why believers must stop putting their faith in men instead of Jesus Christ.

Before the run even starts, I give thanks to Jesus Christ — not for things I earned, but for grace and mercy I never deserved. If you are not in the Word daily, you will be deceived. Period. And this video proves why.

Today was supposed to be “the day of the rapture,” according to a pastor claiming Jesus personally told him the date. That alone exposes the problem. Jesus never gave a date. Paul never gave a date. Scripture never promised escape — it promised endurance.

There is no secret rapture. Christ said we must endure to the end. The Antichrist is coming. Trials are coming. And people who don’t know Scripture will be led astray by lies, false prophecy, fear, and comfort-based theology.

This is why faith must be rooted in Jesus Christ alone, not pastors, not influencers, not material things they’ll eventually use to control you.

From there, the day unfolds in real time:

A 10-mile run

Pushing through fatigue

Running with my wife to show her limits are often mental

Basketball with my daughter

Parenting by example, not words

Eating, recovering, lifting, and still showing up

Discipline doesn’t pause because you’re tired.
Obedience doesn’t wait until it’s convenient.

If I ask my daughter to push herself, I have to live it first. If I keep a schedule, I keep my word. That applies to training, parenting, faith, and life.

Later in the episode, I return to Second Samuel, Chapter 12, where Nathan confronts David. This is one of the clearest pictures in Scripture of how God deals with sin:

God exposes it.
God disciplines it.
God forgives — but consequences remain.

David had everything. God would have given him more. But David let his flesh win. Iniquity cost him what he loved. And yet — David still worshiped God after discipline.

That’s the definition of true faith.

God takes away.
God gives.
God disciplines those He loves.

You don’t get to choose grace and reject accountability. You don’t get to claim salvation while ignoring obedience. You don’t get to keep sinning because someone told you “God is okay with it.”

That lie has infected the church.

This episode is not entertainment.
It’s documentation of discipline, faith, and endurance.
