Baldur's Gate 3 – The Netherbrain (Honour Mode | Patch 6)

➤ Just my first ever attempt at Honor Mode (I think it went quite well). Alternative title: "How to defeat the Netherbrain, easily". Patch 6, no invisibility trick.

In hindsight there could be - of course - improvements (like not wasting Lae'zel's turn, Globe of Invulnerability not necessary etc.) but the result is still satisfying. Also, the amount of buffs make it harder to target anything, as the buff overlay apparently prevents clicking at something underneath it ^^. Video was intended as proof, just in case… and uploaded for a friend, but maybe it might help someone else. The goal was simply to win with all the might I could muster and don't risk anything, no fancy shenanigans; failing at the last fight, possibly in the very last round must be quite soul crushing *cough*... Oh and: obviously spoilers! ;)

▸ Everyone Elixir of Universal Resistance, Oil of Accuracy, Haste (via Scroll of Haste, except Shadowheart because of Concentration), Potion of Flying (if char doesn't have Illithid Fly), Elixir of Vigilance (for Orpheus and the summons / everyone with Initiative lower than 7 to ensure we are first), Elixir of Elven Elegance (for the additional movement speed if you have some)

▸ Special Fierce Perilous Stakes (available only to the Full-Illithid):
Each stack adds an additional 15 Psychic damage per hit. 7 Stacks are ideal, adding 105 damage/hit. Also lowers the number one has to roll to get a critical hit. Additionally heals 2d8 hit points/hit. Makes the bearer vulnerable to all damage (countered by Elixir of Universal Resistance).
