Suzuki T500 History 1968-1977

Описание к видео Suzuki T500 History 1968-1977

All colors and models of the Suzuki T500 series motorcycles. A 500cc two stroke twin built between 1968 and 1977. The first model was called the 1968 500/5 and had a very short wheelbase that produced handling that Suzuki concluded was too, shall we say, abrupt.Only somewhere between 100 and 250 of these were produced before they lengthened the swingarm and renamed it the 1968 Suzuki T500 Cobra. The Ford motor company had a problem with Suzuki using the Cobra name so in 1969 Suzuki changed it to Titan and also updated the gas tank and overall styling. It remained the Titan with small yearly changes thru 1975. For 1976 the bike was renamed the GT500 and added a front disc brake and larger gas tank (sourced fron the GT750) before being phased out in 1977 in favor of the new Suzuki 4 strokes.
