HASHOMER HATZAIR - EDUCATIONAL ENVOLPE FOR FRONTLINE RESIDENTS IN ISRAEL

Supporting the South is an educational project of the Hashomer Hatzair movement, an educational envelope for the communities that were evacuated from the Western Negev following the events of October 7th and the ongoing war. The project was established immediately with the outbreak of the war, and later expanded also to centers where evacuees from the northern border stay. Since the beginning of the war, more than 15 centers of activity have been operated as part of the project, some of which continue to operate today. In other centers, the educational activity was moved, together with the evacuated communities, to their temporary places of residence, until they are able to return safely to their homes.
Hundreds of participants, graduates and volunteers of the Hashomer Hatzair movement took part in the activity out of a deep sense of commitment to these communities and society as a whole, stepping up to the needs of the hour.
