In a previous tutorial. I’ve explained how to hide columns in excel:    • How to Hide Columns In Excel   and in this excel tutorial for beginners, I’ll explain how to unhide those hidden columns in excel. Follow the instructions below to unhide columns in any excel Versions.
There are five ways to unhide columns in excel and they are as follows:

1. Hover your mouse over the hidden column position beside the column name and then drag the bar to the right to unhide.

2. Select the columns on either side of your hidden column then right click and from the context menu select unhide.

3. Select the columns on either side of your hidden column then go to format. Then from the visibility section click on “Hide and Unhide” and click Unhide columns.

4. Select the columns on either side of your hidden column then Press ALT + H + O + U + L and Done.

5. Write any cell number from your hidden column in the name box and then Unhide using instruction from no. 3 or no. 4

Now if you have hidden Column A How would you unhide it. As this is the first column you can’t select the columns on either side of column A. This is a bit tricky here. You need to Select entire column B. click and hold left mouse button on column B and Drag your mouse to the left until you select all the row number also. Now right click and select unhide or go to format. Then hide unhide and click unhide columns or Press ALT + H + O + U + L.

You can also unhide the first column using the technique stated on no. 5. Thanks a million for watching.
