Recycling 101: How to sort your recyclables? | Burton’s Pond Recycling Program | Memorial University

Описание к видео Recycling 101: How to sort your recyclables? | Burton’s Pond Recycling Program | Memorial University

Blue Bag Recycling Program was introduced to residents of Guy and Gilbert at Burton’s Pond Apartment buildings as a pilot in Winter 2023. The program was expanded to all 5 buildings Baltimore, Cabot, Cartier, Gilbert and Guy in Winter 2024. The recycling program collects the same type of materials that City of St John’s collect at the curb. The video illustrates how to sort some of the common items that we come across on a day-to-day basis. City of St John’s has listed sorting categories for a bigger array of materials. Search vizard at Curbside Recycling | Curb It St. John's | Waste & Recycling Program (curbitstjohns.ca) can be used to identify sorting categories for items that is not listed in the video. Materials for recycling collected in blue bags can be dropped off inside the centrally located recycling dumpster near Cartier building. Separate blue bags are used for Paper/Fiber and Mixed Containers.

Recycling is easy: Clean it, Sort it, Bag it and Drop it.
