This is a USB based bipolar stepper motor controller using Microchip PIC18F4550 microcontroller and L298 full bridge IC, the signalling, direction and speed control are sent to the L298 through the microcontroller.

I have used USB-CDC firmware for the PIC18F4550 provided from Microchip technologies as a part of "Microchip Application Libraries", so microcontroller will appear as virtual COM port (serial port) to the PC, this makes the communications between PC and microcontroller easier using COM port APIs like Win32 COM APIs from Microsoft or any other serial interfacing communication APIs like VISA.

I can't provide any schematics or codes but I provide you with list of components, explanations required and any other technical advice you need.
