I'm a civil engineer who loves Disney - and when I found out that Disney actually had plans in the past and present to expand the monorail, I needed to do some research to find out why it hasn't happened yet. Turns out, it's related to a complicated civil engineering challenge related to something called 'borings' dating back to the 1960s.

But even today, there are other factors at play that have continuously affected the expansion. This video is a little bit longer so I've broken it out into chapters for you!
