Lev Lainur, the traitor at Chaldea has attempted to create a singularity - summoning servants back in the era of the Roman Empire

You along with your demi-servant Mash Kyrielight must go back in time and correct this altered timeline. Meeting servants summoned both to help and break your journey.

Early on, you partner with Nero Claudius - a genderbent version of the infamous emperor as she fights to restore Rome. In Lev's desperation he summons one of the ultimate civilization destroyers in Attila the hun. However with another genderbend, she manifests as Altera.

In Fate Extella Altera is further characterized as not just a civilization destroyer - but a planet destroyer as the dark star Velber. She is a machine meant for only one purpose...her memories of her time as a living conqueror inconsequential until a certain other master opens her mind to the idea of fighting to save instead of destroy.
