Trains on the Main Line 7/19/24 Part 1

Last Friday, I went up to Ramsey to spend the day on the Main Line. A D9-44CW had found its way onto the Norfolk Southern locals out of Hillburn, so I was interesting to see it running on H55. Making things more interesting was that the Dash 9 was facing west, so it would be running long hood forward when leading the local. This was definitely the coolest thing I saw today, but there were some neat sets on NJT as well.

1: Train 54 passes by with Comet V Cab Car 6705 leading the way. GP40FH-2 4900 is trailing.
2: Train 1107 pulls in with GP40FH-2 4905 in charge, running 3 minutes late. Train 1160 arrives at the same time with Cab Car 6043 leading the way. PL42AC 4016 is at the end of 1160, and Cab Car 6077 brings up the rear of 1107.
3: Train 1147 rolls in with ALP-45DP 4501, the Army banner unit, leading the way. Cab Car 6027 is trailing.
4: PL42AC 4029 hauls Train 43 through the station. Trailing is Cab Car 6081.
5: Train 56 races past with Cab Car 6708 leading the way. Powering the set is GP40FH-2 4901.
6: Train 1162 makes its stop with Cab Car 6077 in charge. GP40FH-2 4905 is at the end.
7: A hy-rail truck passes through heading east.
8: Train 1109 arrives with GP40PH-2 4100 on the point. Cab Car 6024 is at the end.
9: Train 1110 crosses Main Street and pulls into the station with Cab Car 6027 leading the way. ALP-45DP 4501 is at the end.
10: Norfolk Southern H55 passes by with D9-44CW 9785, GP38-2 5279, and GP38-2 5624 on the point, pulling 27 cars. Train 45 arrives just after H55 clears the station with F40PH-3C 4911 in charge. Cab Car 6706 is trailing.
11: An eastbound equipment move cruises through with Cab Car 6710 leading a four-car set powered by PL42AC 4009. Three more Comet V coaches are behind 4009.
12: Train 58 speeds by with Cab Car 6020 in charge. Bringing up the rear is GP40FH-2 4903.
13: Train 1112 rolls in with Cab Car 6024 leading the way. Powering the set is GP40PH-2 4100.
14: X15 races past Gertzen Plaza with NJDOT GP40PH-2 4101 leading the way. Cab Car 6702 is trailing.
15: Train 1111 crosses Gertzen Plaza with PL42AC 4025 leading the way, running a few minutes behind schedule. Trailing is Multilevel Cab Car 7049.
