Do this fix at your own risk, it only works ONCE! Without the protection of the diode if the polarity is reversed again it will fry the whole board. I can’t stress enough that if you can have a tech with micro-min soldering skills/equipment fix it right and replace the surface mount diode THAT is what you should do.
