From the 2011 Grammy winning album of the year, Modern Man is a song about navigating the modern uncertain social landscape. The time-signature of the song is constantly fluctuating and just when it seems like it predictable, it changes again. I have a feeling this was intended to create the uncertain foundation that is being sung about in the lyrics.

Arcade Fire seem to morph into a variety of musical stylings and this song in particular stood out to me on this album (The Suburbs). I hope you enjoy my take on it ... it was a doozy trying to follow that shifting time-signature so go easy on me :)
