In many small and mid-sized cities, there are brownfield sites that have the potential to contribute to the local economy as housing, commerical space, or other amenities. But without public support – funding and capacity – these are unlikely to be developed. This event will examine what needs to be done to regenerate brownfield sites, how to make this process easier, and how to prioritise areas for redevelopment.
