Here are the techniques that we cover in this video:

First, you'll learn how to perform a joint lock from a shoulder shove. This is one of the more common situations a person will find themselves defending. But no worries, because we have a solution for that in this video!

Next, we'll show you what to do if someone grabs your wrist and pulls you. Now, they might be pulling you in to punch, or attempting to pull you to another location to inflict more harm or worse. So here is a very simple, yet effective joint lock you should learn to prevent that.

The third joint lock that is highly effective and extremely easy to learn and perform, is the 1 finger lock. What happens if someone's shoving their finger into your chest to try and intimidate you? Or set you up for a more serious attack? You use the 1 finger lock!

The next technique we go over is another wrist grab, but it's a cross hand grab, and from someone walking towards you. They might be reaching towards you to take something, or reaching towards you, to take you! What would you do in this situation?

Finally, we'll show you how to redirect someone's attack from a swinging punch. A very common punch you'll see people throw, especially if they don't know what they're doing. Use this simple, yet effective technique to perform a joint lock from a punch.
