West End Eagles ~ TREASURE FLEDGES! 🎉 💕 SEEN FLAPPING WINGS ON CLIFF! AMAZING KOA FLYBYS 6.8.24

Описание к видео West End Eagles ~ TREASURE FLEDGES! 🎉 💕 SEEN FLAPPING WINGS ON CLIFF! AMAZING KOA FLYBYS 6.8.24

The video opens with a beautiful view of the entire family seen on cam! You have Koa on the historic nest rock on the left, then Thunder & AK to the right on the tor, and Sterling and Treasure below on the nest ♥ We have some great closeups of Sterling and Treasure. Treasure ventured way down on the basement before fledgling a little while later. When the cam pans away to the historic nest and back, only Sterling is seen on the nest.

Treasure has fledged at 91 days old!! Congratulations to the 2nd fledgling of the season 🎉 💕! Before we find were Treasure is hiding- we have some great flybys by Koa (I put in slo-mo) and one of Thunder taking off right after Koa. You can tell this is Koa and not Treasure who is flying by because of all the white feathers in the underside of the wings and the tail. Treasure has very little white in his tail.

Later in the afternoon, Koa is still on the rock of the historic nest but there is some wing activity happening right below the nest! Treasure is seen flapping its wings from the cliff side ledge it landed on. The cam zooms in and we see wing flapping activity for a couple of hours - looks like Treasure remained there for the night. Sterling is sleeping on the nest and Koa is roosting on the night perch with Thunder and AK close by!

Another amazing day with the West End Triplets! I think Sterling is going to fledge very soon - maybe in the morning! And it will be exciting to see Treasure make it back to the nest! Thank you for watching!
