Martin Fabricius Trio : Earth Song from the album, Under the Same Sky 2018 Berthold Records.

Studying with famous vibraphone player Gary Burton, I realized that when it comes to speed and virtuoso playing he was and would always be the master and my task would be to find a different path. Playing really slow was a road less traveled by vibraphone players and one that became mine.
Earth Song has a Nordic folk sound to it and a simplicity that I really like. It's from the album, Under the Same Sky, published by Berthold Records. It has Andreas Markus on bass and Jacob Hatholt on drums. I'm playing my Deagan vibraphone using a loop machine and some bowing. My favorite part is the first couple of measures of the solo when the time gets really laid back. This might be a video where you would want to close your eyes and chill out.
