NOKIA 5320, An upcoming Nokia Android phone|unveiled in the fourth quarter of 2016

Two of Nokia's unannounced Android-powered phones have been spotted at Geekbench listing, revealing some of their hardware features. However, the specification leaks are at an early phase and the final product might not pack the same features.

Codenamed as Nokia 5320 and RM-1490, respectively, the models run older version of Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
Nokia 5320 has a quad-core processor clocked at 2.27GHz and a 2GB RAM. The processor might be Snapdragon 821 since Snapdragon 820 is clocked at 2.2GHz. This handset scored 494 points in single-core performance, whereas 1531 points in multi-core.

Nokia RM-1490, as its name suggests, follows the naming convention of earlier Nokia and later Lumia phones. This hints Nokia could be using RM-xxxx naming for its upcoming handsets. The phone uses an AMD A8-5545 processor running at a clock speed up to 500MHz. It has a 2GB RAM. The RM-1490 got 972 points in single-core performance and 1669 points in multi-core. Nokiapoweruser, which earlier shared details about Nokia's Android phones, spotted the benchmark listing.

It has been rumoured for a while now that Nokia is working on two high-end models powered with Android 7.0 Nougat that Google recently rolled out for its Nexus phones and tablets. Along with the flagship models, the company is also planning for mid-range phones.

Recently, Nokia executive Mike Wang, president of the joint management team in China, confirmed three to four Nokia-branded mobile devices running Android will be unveiled in the fourth quarter of 2016. In addition to that HMD global Oy, the Finnish company that is the global licensee of Nokia, hired Pekka Rantala as its chief marketing officer to relaunch Nokia phones.
