Silencing my DRZ400 - B&B Insert HUGE DIFFERENCE!

TL:DR Video. IT WORKS!

My second-hand DRZ400 came without the muffler/endcap on the stock muffler.

The bike was unbearably loud, with the "BOBP BOBP" sound digging into my skull like a jackhammer after 20 mins.

I searched for a solution and all I could find was the muffler insert sold by B&B offroad. It is so expensive that I put off purchasing it but finally decided my hearing was worth it.

You can't hear a huge difference in volume in the video, but you can hear the popping sound dissapear--and that is what was eardrum shattering. Out of my garage and on the street it seems there is more noise coming from my engine than the back of the bike.

Don't get me wrong, this is still a noisy bike, but this muffler insert/tip was 100% worth it. It is built amazingly well and is a beautifully crafted...I don't really care about that for my beater bike but you might.

I can ride this thing again!

Downsides:

Stupid expensive.
