I am very excited to share this quick video, showcasing a behind the scenes look at my recently finished 5ft x 4ft drawing. I used Mixed Media Paper, which I cut to the desired size, along with Micron Pens, Water Color, and Oil Pastels.

If you stare at the piece you will discover a fantastical desert scene that tells a story. The woman in the middle is the focal point. She finds herself being pulled into this magical desert realm by the plants, animals, and objects she encounters. Nothing is as it seems! The left half of her face, as well as her hand are purposefully distorted. Her sense of reality is being challenged. Does she let the magic take her or does she wake up?
