We will cover the most common door opening types.

Installing into a cased opening

These openings have no doors installed and typically have trim around the opening.

Measure at the top, middle and bottom of your door opening. Use the smallest door opening dimension when ordering.
If you are replacing a traditional pre-hung door, Here are the instructions for measuring your door opening. (The door will need to be removed for proper installation of the double doors)
You can choose to remove the door stops, this is the preferred method. If you choose to keep the doors stops installed then you will need to measure in between the door stops and mount the doors directly to the doors stops.
