Here’s Chris demystifying the differences between the types of SQUEEGEE material.

These are the 3 types of Duro (Durometer) that we offer:

60 Duro - Orange

This squeegee material is best used with low mesh counts
from 25 -85.
The 60 Duro is used on irregular and/or rough surfaces when you want a lot of ink on the screen surface to ensure an even layer on your substrate. It pushes more ink through the screen instead of shearing it off.
Works great with GLITTER, METALLIC, PUFF AND GEL INKS.

70 Duro - Yellow

This duro squeegee is the most commonly used, especially when working with detailed artwork. It works well on both low and high mesh counts, such as 305-355.
The 70 Duro is generally used on manual presses.

80 Duro - Pink

This is the hardest squeegee material we carry and can be used on all mesh counts.
The 80 Duro will shear off ink instead of pushing it through the screen leaving a light deposit of ink on the screen.
This material is most often used with an automatic screen printing press and 4-color process.

We also offer squeegee material with Wood and Aluminum handles in a variety of lengths.
With the Wood handle, the squeegee material is glued into place. Easily smooth out any flaws that might develop after extensive use with a Squeegee Sharpener.
The Aluminum Handle is available with the squeegee material bolted into the aluminum. Replacement is simple.
