They are in deep financial trouble and Adele struggles to get on with her staff, is disappointed by her chef and hates Gordon with a passion. Gordon has one last chance to bring them all around and make the restaurant a success.

Gordon visits Bazzini restaurant in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Owner Paul Bazzini was an award-winning chef in New York who decided to run his own restaurant but he never realised how difficult the change would be. Now, he finds everyday tasks overwhelming and his passion for food is in danger of being extinguished by the daily grind. However, passion isn't the only problem in this failing restaurant.

Gordon visits Mojito, a Cuban cafe in Brooklyn, New York. Owners Marcelo and Kata used to be married to each other but now fight over everything. Seven years ago, the couple were happy newlyweds and the restaurant was their shared dream, but now the passion has gone and they're constantly at each other's throats, with their staff getting caught in the crossfire.

Gordon visits the Lido Di Manhattan in California. Ambitious business school graduate Lisa bought the restaurant when she was 23 but five years later, she's starting to think she picked the wrong venture. Lisa's clueless in the kitchen, doesn't eat the food she serves and has no control over what happens anywhere in the restaurant.

Gordon travel to a `high end' husband and wife run Bistro in Lighthouse Point, Florida. Stubborn Scottish dictatorial chef and owner Andy has cooked for celebrated chefs in the past, but since opening Le Bistro has lost his passion for cooking and doesn't listen to anyone. With customers grading his food 3/10, and Andy not responding well to criticism, can Gordon get him to listen?

Chef Ramsay tries to help two inexperienced restaurant owners who run an Italian eatery called Casa Roma in Lancaster, California.

Gordon travels to Newbury Park in Southern California to Mexican restaurant Mama Ritas. Owner Laura ran an incredibly successful catering business for years before transferring her skills to running a restaurant, but she has failed to grasp that the two things are very different beasts.

Gordon visits Anna Vincenzo's, an Italian restaurant in Boca Raton, Florida. Owner CeCe opened up the restaurant with the help of her father in 2001. Things were going well up until two years ago when the business started to slow down and CeCe is puzzled about what went wrong. Gordon tries to rescue the failing business but is shocked to discover CeCe has lost her way in the kitchen.

Gordon revisits Santé La Brea, Finn McCool's, and Giuseppi's to see how their restaurants are faring after his first visits to their businesses.

Gordon visits Fleming, a Danish restaurant in Miami, Florida. It was once the best family-run restaurant in town, but now the place is on its last legs. Fleming was bought by husband and wife team Andy and Suzanne eight years ago, in the hope of continuing the restaurant's past success, but with no clue about Danish cuisine it's no real surprise the place is losing money. Can Gordon save their bacon?

Gordon is at Sushi Ko in California. Owner Akira was a successful sushi chef at someone else's restaurant so he and his wife Lisa decided to branch out on their own. When they started, business was booming but it soon slowed down. They're losing up to $20,000 a month and Akira is a shadow of his former self. Gordon is Sushi Ko's last hope.

Gordon revisits Handlebar, Casa Roma, and Black Pearl to see how their restaurants are faring after his first visits to their businesses.
