A shocking robbery incident has been reported from Scheme No. 5 area of Gurdaspur, Punjab, where armed robbers allegedly looted around ₹3 crore in cash and jewellery from the house of a jeweller.

According to the information, the incident took place early in the morning around 8 AM, when the robbers entered the house and held the entire family hostage at gunpoint. The criminals reportedly tied up the family members inside the house and then carried out the massive robbery.

The family claims that the robbers were disguised in Nihang Singh attire, which made the incident even more shocking and concerning. After committing the robbery, the accused fled from the spot with a huge amount of cash and gold jewellery.

Police teams reached the spot soon after receiving the information and have started a detailed investigation. CCTV footage from nearby areas is also being examined to identify the accused and trace their movements.

This major robbery has created fear and panic among residents in the area, while police have assured that the culprits will be arrested soon.
