Let’s Learn Together project, Zambia: focus on children with disabilities and their carers (Bemba)

The Tusambilile Chapamo ‘Let’s Learn Together’ inclusive education project, funded by the European Union, aims to ensure that children with disabilities can not only access school, but can learn alongside their peers and thrive.

The project supports students with disabilities in Chinsali, Zambia, from early years through to primary, secondary and tertiary education. It brings together children with disabilities and their families, teachers and education professionals, community members, civic leaders, organisations of people with disabilities, and representatives from the ministry of education.

The project is running from 2020-2025 as a partnership between Sightsavers, the European Union, the Zambia Federation of Disability Organizations and the Zambia Ministry for Education.
