One of the masterpiece of the 20th century. This sonata, the most well known Leo Ornstein work, is often regarded as one of his best work. This interpetation, by Arsentiy Kharitonov, is absolutely incredible. He plays the whole sonata with force and passion, while not being too violent, especially in the very delicates second and third movement.
