A DIY documentation of Phil Elverum aka Mount Eerie playing in the Sint-Albertus church, Genk, Belgium on 31-05-2023

I was planning to bikepack and film a portion of a shortfilm I'm working on in National Park Hoge Kempen and attend Phil Elverums concert in Genk on the 31st of may. On a whim I got the idea to document the concert as I would have quite some recording equipment with me. The night before the concert I sent an email to Phil and the organisers and the next morning I got a respone from both parties saying I'm welcome to record (a bit bizar that it happend so quickly).
This video came out of that documentation. I felt like sharing it with the world (and turning it into a little art project.) I am extremely thankful for the fantastic people from AFF and their hospitality and Phil Elverum for the wonderful gig (please check out AFF festival, it is a free festival being held every year in Genk, this years edition was a few weeks back and the lineup was fantastic (Protomartyr was there.))
