Repair Blog: Routine Gibson Explorer Setup Gone Bad

Описание к видео Repair Blog: Routine Gibson Explorer Setup Gone Bad

A friend had purchased this guitar and wanted it setup and to have new pickups installed. During the setup I kept encountering problems with uneven frets. After some investigation I learned that some frets were popping out and rocking across the fretboard. What should have been a routine setup turned into a long excursion as I had to pull the bad frets and reseat with glue.
After getting the guitar wired back up and in playing condition I demonstrate how the custom wiring setup works. In this guitar I installed a Bass Cut Control that works very well. Most of the bass cut diagrams you will see online don't work and in this video I will show you the right way and you can hear the results for yourself.
Thanks for stopping by!
