Afghan Taliban Clash with Pakistan Army on Durand Line after Pakistan strike on Afghan soil 2024

The government of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has said that at least eight people, including five women and three children, were killed as a result of Pakistan's airstrikes in Paktika and Khost provinces near the border of the two countries.
However, Pakistan's Foreign Ministry confirmed this airstrike in a statement later in the afternoon (Monday) saying that it had conducted "anti-terrorist operations" along the Durand border line.
The statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan stated that the main target of this "operation" was the people affiliated with the Hafez Gul Bahadur group, who, in cooperation with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, were "responsible for numerous terrorist attacks inside Pakistan and the killing of hundreds of civilians and security officials." The statement mentions the latest attack on a security post in North Waziristan, as a result of which seven Pakistani soldiers were killed.
