Описание к видео Printing Casted Parts Without a Drawing |

The fourteenth installment of our #askADDMAN series features Joseph Carley, Additive Engineer, on reverse engineering to make print casted parts without a drawing. What it is and why you would use it.

#askADDMAN was born out of our desire to advance American manufacturing through the expert use of 3D printing, injection molding, and CNC machining processes. Every day we collaborate with partners on complex manufacturing projects and are bringing our findings to you.

❓ QUESTION: What is reverse engineering and why would you want to use it?

❗ ANSWER: The process of going backward from a physical object to create a CAD file of that object. A common use is for older parts where the original CAD files are no longer available.
