The Yellow Tailed Damselfish is a fairly shy member of the damsel fish family. Look for them in fire coral. When very young, they are bright blue with turquoise spots. Then they develop the yellow tail soon after. Upon reaching adulthood, they turn a more navy blue, and keep the bright turquoise spots along the top of their body. One of my favorite fish! Filmed in Bonaire March 2016.
