I co-wrote this song with Bob Griffiths (Jamaica Bob) a fellow Children's Musician. We wrote this song for a Workshop we presented at a Children's Music Network Conference on How to Use Music to teach SEL (Social Emotional Learning) .This song encapsulates all the CASEL Competencies. Self Awareness and Self Management are the building blocks of Social Emotional Maturity. The Song reviews the considerations in making choices and decisions and there has to be Social awareness and Relationship Skills when considering those who will be affected by a decision. The verses in the song go through how to Make a Responsible Decision.

Social Awareness - This aspect of the activity is in the lyric about the awareness of others feelings and how decisions can affect them.
Relationship Skills - Similarly to Social Awareness a person is developing Relationship Skills when they are aware of others and their feelings and consider them in making a decision.
Responsible Decision Making - Involves defining what the problem is or what are the choices, What do you need to do to decide, How will your friends or people involved be affected and how do they feel about the choice, What do you feel and think is the right choice, and then Take action and make the decision.
