A marathon of BART trains from two lines and from all directions arrive and depart from Ashby station, in Berkeley.

We were in search of the Fleet of the Future, but it never turned up, despite BART's explicit explanation of when the new train will be in service (don't worry; we'll get it soon!). That didn't stop us from filming every older train that turned up at the station as we waited.

Ashby station is home to trains from the Richmond-Warm Springs and the Richmond-Daly City/Millbrae lines. It is one of three stops in Berkeley proper, and serves the busy Ashby Ave. corridor and the Ashby Flea Market every Sunday.
