SPCA International was founded in the U.S. in 2006. The mission of our organization is simple but vast: to advance the safety and well-being of animals.

Our Shelter Support program serves and partners with shelters, rescue groups and governments around the world. Through these unique and pioneering partnerships, local organizations can rescue, treat, rehabilitate, feed, sterilize and home more animals than ever before.

Through our PAWsitive Recovery program, both people in recovery and animals in shelters have a new "leash" on life, facilitating healing from the wounds of addiction, trauma, and abuse. By fostering animals in need, providing volunteer opportunities and integrated workshops, we ensure a brighter future for all involved.

Our Patriot Pets program serves animals beloved by members of the U.S. military, contractors, veterans, refugees and their families. SPCAI facilitates rescues, reunions and emergency medical care for these beloved companions.

We distribute critical veterinary medical supplies to animal welfare groups worldwide. As a result, organizations in developing countries have been able to treat more sick and injured animals. SPCAI has distributed over $100 million in veterinary supplies since 2010.
