We all know that Kerala women's commission chairperson Sm. MC Josephine has resigned from the post.There is so many trolls regarding that. So I am not going to tell you about that issue. My video is all about what is Vanitha Commission? Is Vanitha commision is working properly? Why Vanitha commission is not fruitful ? Why its a failure ?
Womens Commission is established in Kerala on 1996 march 14. After that there were many women's commission chairpersons in the chair. The last one was Smt.M C Josephine. Why womens commission acting as a rubber stamp? Why women and children of our society are facing more problems in our society?

We blame our government for food scarcity because it is the duty of our government serve better. like vise it is the duty of women's commission to prevent atrocities against women and child .If they worked for the prevention of crimes, there wont be any cases against women's life and dignity which is related to dowry and domestic violence. Now you may have doubt on how these issues will reach to the address of Women's commission? We have an idea of decentralization of power. We have three tier system of local bodies in Kerala. Like wise Vanitha commission also has a decentralized system. It is known as Jagratha Samithi or vigilant groups. Did you ever heard about this? If you are a elected member of local body or a ASHA worker,Kudumbashree member or Circle inspector or sub inspector or government doctor there are more chances to hear about the system. I will explain the aim behind the formation of Women's commission. It is based on prevention of atrocities against women and children. Prevention is better than cure.It is the aim of Women's commision. So there is more imporatance to ward level jagratha samithi .Ask your ward member|councillor of your panjayath|municipality|corporation about Jagratha Samithi. Beacuse it is the duty of that elected member. As I said earlier Women's commission is working based on preventive methods,so it is their duty to find out the chances of crimes and report it immediately.Jagratha samithi has the power to take up the cases with special power. For example, if Vismaya's case was reported on time she could have been live this time. If you are thinking about it will be awful if all the people at Panjayath will get knew about your problem, please don't bother about what others think about you and your problem. Your issues will be presented before Panjayath President, ICDS Supervisor (implementing officer of many projects in that local body) Sub inspector or circle inspector, Women advocate SC|ST leader,Government doctor etc. That means you dont have to file a case in the police station to resolve the issue. It will be discussed and of they cant handle the case they will send the report to District Jagratha Samithy and if district Jagratha failed to handle that case it will be forwared to Vanitha Commission|Women's commission.

One important thing in this context is the viral media interview of Sri. Biju Prabhakar IAS who the Manager director of Transport, Social Justice Mission and women and child development says that there should come officers for women and child in every panjayath. It will be a great movement in Kerala. That video was taken in two thousand and nineteen . This is two thousand twenty one ,but there is no changes in the field. But it was very crucial post in the contemporary scenario of Kerala.
There is another post named Community women facilitator in every panjayath|municipality| corporation. But only less than 100 posts have been appointed out of total 900 and more local bodies in our state. The salary of community women facilitator should be from own fund of local body. If the service of community women facilitator having the qualification of master in social work, psychology, sociology is not getting at your place, it can be considered as the negligence of your local body. It is very important to post a community women facilitator for the effective functioning of the Jagratha samithi system. Unemployment is another crucial problem in our society. Government has to pay attention to these things also. Efficiency will improve ccording to manpower too.
