This is my 3rd take. Recorded in Audacity on my AT2020 mic, filmed on my Canon Vixia camera and synched up in Adobe Premiere. No tuning, or video cuts. (I wanted to get something out to you guys before I head off to LA for a few weeks. :-)

HELLO DDR's (Dedicated Description Readers)!
Ok, so a lot has happened in the last few weeks and I don't know where to begin!
Let's see... Ok, first off, I'm getting pretty close to 1,000,000 subs and I'm trying to figure out what to do for it! I thought about doing some kind of ribbon cutting in the air (I've already tested it with a roll of toilet paper at 2,000ft and it was pretty epic! Here's a video:

Oh yeah, also Cider Fest 2018 was a blast! Great convention, great people, and it's always fun to hang out with the Crebers and my other friends! During a random conversation with Tony Fleecs (comic book writer/artist extraordinaire) I found out that he used to live in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the same time I did (back in the early 2000's) and he worked for the local news station that interviewed me when I got stuck on the rocks! (I already posted the video, but here it is again:    • GabeRocks   )
He probably wasn't there back when that happened, but he was DEFINITELY there and working when the city tried (and failed) to demolish an old feed tower! I was standing on the ground watching when this happened and apparently he was working on the coverage that this clip came from!    • Sioux Falls Zip Building Demolition Fail

Oh, I also fell for the first time while trying to take off! There were a bunch of contributing factors: short runway, uneven terrain, weird rotor, slippery gravel surface, etc. I plowed into the ground head first at about 20 MPH... My helmet saved my head, but I bashed up both my knees and my left hand pretty good. The left knee has a pretty large laceration (3x1in), while the right knee is heavily bruised and feels lightly sprained... It's pretty interesting though because while I've had both of these types of injuries before, I don't think I've ever had them at the same time! It feels very interesting to walk and feel both external, and internal pain with each alternating step! I can't figure out which leg to limp on! XD
