Schoeps, Line Audio, and Zoom Microphone Setups Compared

A demonstration comparing a variety of cardioid microphone pairs placed 6ft from a source at a height of 7ft. A pair of Schoeps MK4 cardioid microphones and a pair of Line Audio CM4 cardioid microphones are placed in an NOS configuration and recorded through a SoundDevices MixPre 10. A Zoom H6 with capsules in an XY configuration is placed in line with the other pairs. Only one pair is heard at a time and the active pair is labeled on screen.
