Marine Innovation Unit activated to enhance innovation and collaboration

On May 5, 2023, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Reserve activated the Marine Innovation Unit (MIU) at Stewart Air National Guard Base, NY. This new unit focuses on innovation and collaboration between the Marine Corps and industry. The activation ceremony featured key stakeholders and the Department of the Navy's first Defense Innovation Roundtable. MIU is currently recruiting reservists to achieve full operational capability later this year.
