Alfa Romeo Giulia infotainment software update

For those experiencing any issues with the Alfa Romeo Giulia infotainment, I recommend that you do a software update.

Before attempting this procedure, you need to prepare a USB flash drive with the updated version of the software for your particular version of infotainment hardware. As for the update procedure shown in this video, here are the steps:
go for a drive until the engine reaches normal operating temperature
disable start/stop
park the car and leave the engine running
insert the flash drive into the usb port right bellow the infotainment
follow the instructions on the screen
when prompted, removed the flash drive and let it reboot
Done.

Doing this while driving is not recommended because road bumps could interrupt the installation process. As such, this process should be performed on idle, which is why getting the engine up to normal operating temperature prior to starting the procedure is a good thing. After the procedure ends, go for a drive on a highway to clean any carbon build up.
