In 2025, a new biography of the legendary singer Freddie Mercury, frontman of the rock band Queen, is being released. The book is titled "Love, Freddie" and is authored by writer and journalist Lesley-Ann Jones.

Although the book will not be officially published until September, one discovery made by the researcher has already come to light. According to Love, Freddie, Mercury had a daughter in 1976 following a brief affair with his friend's wife. Her full name is not revealed in the book — only the initial “B.”

According to B., the Queen frontman maintained a warm relationship with her during the first 15 years of her life — until his death in 1991. He also gave her diaries that he had kept over the years, in which he wrote about his life — from his childhood on the island of Zanzibar to his final days (the last entry is dated July 31, 1991). Lesley-Ann Jones, citing B., claims that only Mercury's closest circle was aware of her existence.

As of the publication of this news, people who were closely associated with Mercury — most notably the other members of Queen (Brian May, John Deacon, and Roger Taylor) — have not commented on this information.Shirley Jones
