Karbi Anglong police in Assam have busted an active inter-state child trafficking network, rescuing multiple victims, including a mother and her minor daughter from Bokolia Ghat, who had been sold in Delhi and Rajasthan three years ago.

According to police, the minor girl was sold in Delhi for ₹30,000, while her mother was trafficked to Rajasthan for ₹1 lakh.
During the operation, the police team also rescued one child from Golaghat and two children from West Bengal, highlighting the wide reach of the network.
