Highlights filmed by my crew from the Washington Island Ultra (Relay) 2020 - from July 23, 24, 25th

Spectacular day of racing, amid a world consumed by the on going pandemic. This tiny island in northern Lake Michigan, hosted one of the very few races that occurred throughout the summer of 2020. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the wonderful event.

New friends made, adventures had, and challenges overcome. The 2020 edition of the Washington Island Ultra was one to remember!

Race Format:
1. Choose your Discipline: Triathlon, Duathlon, Cycling or Running.
2. Choose your Division: Solo, Team of 2, Team of 3, Team of 4+ (limit is 8 athletes on a team).
3. Choose your Time: 36 hour race, 24 hour race, 12 hour race or 8 hour race.

Huge thank you to my crew for filming everything. They kept me going and somehow still found the time to get out and and talk with so many other participants.

Another huge thank you to the ultra triathlon community representing at Washington Island. You are all amazing, inspiring and incredible for coming out to race, for cheering one all the other athletes, for completely supporting the journey everyone else has taken to get to this place.

The most 'hugest' THANK YOU to Washington Island. On behalf of all the athletes, thank you! Without the support of the community this race could not have happened. While, understandably there were concessions that were needed, such as limited numbers and the mask mandate. The fact that we were able to race was just huge. There's been so many races cancelled this year, having an opportunity to get out and participate in an event is something I'm personally extremely grateful for.
