Making, shaping, and finishing G10 knife handles | knife making

This video follows me making handles for two handmade fillet knives and a hunting knife from a previous video. The first fillet knife is a stock removal knife made from 15n20 steel, and has black with gray layered G10 handle scales and hunter orange liners. The second fillet knife was hand forged from 5160 steel, and has black with gray sectional G10 scales and hunter orange liners. The hunting knife has OD green and black layered G10 with blue liners. All of the various size handle pins are stainless steel. Each knife has a ⅜” hollow stainless steel lanyard tube, and a combination of ¼” solid stainless steel pins and 2mm solid stainless steel pins. The handles were assembled with G-Flex epoxy, and all of the knife handles were finished with two coats of Odie's Oil.
