Baby mushroom tatting tutorial (focus on Catherine Wheel Join & Straight angle making) free pattern

This video shows how to make a little cute mushroom in tatting.

But I only focus on how to do the Catherine Wheel Join & Straight Angle.

Materials:
any size of thread (10, 20, 40 .... )
2 shuttles (optional : one extra for straight angle making)
1 crochet hook for picot joins

This motif is small but consists of two techniques: Catherine Wheel Join (CWJ) and straight angle.

For the CWJ, we often use it in making onion rings, it keeps the chains smooth without noticeable join with the picot below.

The straight angle technique is rarely use in most tatting patterns, but it is useful when you want to make sharp turn in your work.
