Belle Chen invites you to join her on a musical nod to Christmas time with her re-imaginations of holiday favourites; exploring a warmer, more reflective perspective of this often busy and overwhelming time of year.

This video performance, captured at her home studio, features pieces from her EP, Another Nod To Christmas, completed with additional improvised interludes. The set also includes her recomposition of themes from the overture to Mozart's beloved opera, Don Giovanni.

Splashes of jazz, neoclassical, and the use of keyboards to emulate the sounds of birds in nature and church bells in celebration can be heard in a curious blend with classical and post-classical sensitivities.
